The quality of the wines of the Côte Chalonnaise continues to improve. All specialists agree on this… At the same time it seems that with a certain price increase on the side of the Côte de Beaune (not to mention the Côte de Nuits), a transfer is made to these wines that offer an extremely interesting value for money . Bourgogne Magazine recently produced a dossier with several blind tastings, the wines of the Côte Chalonnaise did very well with remarkable notes, at prices often below 10 euros for village appellations (Mercurey, Givry, Rully, Montagny …) and even in some cases Premiers Crus. Fans are not mistaken, with sales constantly increasing. This is the case of the Maison des Vins de la Côte Chalonnaise, whose sales are growing strongly and which is expanding once again to ensure its development in the best conditions. In any case, great efforts have been made for several years by the winegrowers of this Burgundy wine region, the positive consequences are probably only at their beginning!
