The Crémants de Bourgogne are doing well: sustained sales increase of around 5% per year. This level of growth is explained by the general rise in the quality of these sparkling wines, which are made according to precise specifications, no more and no less close to that of champagne. The harvests having been very good in recent years with a grape of very good quality, associated with a level of requirement in the selection and elaboration, make it possible to offer flattering wines, fresh and aromatized, with very fine bubbles … while maintaining a price in general less than 10 € per bottle! As a result, with the small harvest of 2012, some specialized producers are now in need of product! The situation is likely to quickly become worrying, as consumers do not like to be permanently deprived of their favorite wines! To be continued… in the meantime do not hesitate to fill his cellar with Crémant de Bourgogne!
