Record sales of Burgundy wines for export

Despite the economic situation, the level of sales of Burgundy wines has never been so high, according to customs figures. Sales amounted to €719 million over one year, an increase of 15% ! The most demanding markets would be in Asia, with Japan and China in particular. We can only rejoice in these beautiful figures…It would still be necessary to go a little more in detail because it is not necessarily the feeling of some producers of Burgundy wines. Either it is the trading houses that are better positioned for export, or it is some markets that are developing while others (Europe?) are doing worse? The sequel soon we hope!
